About WP Malta Ltd.

Founded on August 8, 1988, WP Ltd is one of the pioneers in introducing membrane waterproofing materials to Malta. Founded by Paul and William Mintoff, WP Ltd has over 40 years of experience in waterproofing homes and businesses. Now run by William and his son Dylan, the third-generation company remains committed to quality and customer satisfaction.

WP Ltd specialises in professional waterproofing services designed to protect your property from humidity and water damage. Our solutions prevent issues like cracks, peeling paint, mould, mildew, and other contaminants that can weaken your building's structure.

We offer a range of waterproofing methods tailored to your needs:

  • Membrane Installation: After thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surface, we apply a primer and lay a membrane "carpet" with up to a 15-year guarantee, depending on the quality chosen. Many clients find that the membrane lasts even longer than the guaranteed period.

  • Liquid Membrane Coating: An alternative roof coating where we apply fibreglass where necessary and cover it with three coats of liquid membrane for enhanced protection.

  • Solar PV Integration: An innovative two-in-one solution where we install a specialised product over the membrane carpet to generate electric energy—not to be confused with traditional solar panels.

Our waterproofing services apply to roofs, wells, terraces, basements, balconies, roof gardens, lift pits, canopies, and more. With a variety of membranes available in different colours and sizes, our professional team offers free on-site inspections to help you choose the best solution for your property.

Variety of Membranes

Household Membrane

If you're seeking waterproofing solutions for your home, we recommend considering a liquid membrane. This coating provides homeowners with a quick and easy-to-install solution, effectively addressing any water leakage issues.

Commercial Membrane

For industrial or commercial buildings requiring protection from water penetration or harsh weather conditions, a liquid membrane can also be a viable option. However, for greater durability, we suggest opting for a bitumen membrane. This offers large-scale, robust protection.

Maintenance and Repairs

Proper maintenance and repairs are essential for any membrane application you choose. Regular care of these materials is crucial to ensure long-term protection from water damage and to maintain the integrity of your building.
